Fujifilm XF10

02/05/2020
The little Fujifilm XF10 is my newest camera.
I have developed a love for this little camera. I do already have the first gen X100 and the X-T3. But for Christmas I gave myself the little FX10 for it is so easy to carry with me.

The last years I have been shooting more with phone cameras than ever before. But I find them yet not always very comfortable for shooting because I normally need both hands to shoot with sufficient control
But the little FX10 with its strap, is easy to just hold and shoot with one hand. In my case it will be the right hand. Because I have travelled a lot the last years (not now because of the virus), I wanted to have a camera easy to take with me, and which yet gives fine results.

The camera specs are possible to find in other places. It has a 28 mm equivalent lens with a F2.8 as the widest aperture. The lens is really good. The sensor is a 24 megapixel bayer sensor.

As far as I know it must be one of the cheapest APS-C cameras to buy now. If not the cheapest. It gives very good images for a little money.

One thing I like with this little camera, is its beauty. It is very well crafted and made in a metal housing. Also the leather hand strap in the box is ok, because the camera is so light, you do not need a different strap.
The protection for the lens is possible to attach to the strap, so when I go shooting, I just pop it off and it dangles below ... just a couple of times while shooting vertically, I had to take care it would not cover the lens.

Fujifilm offers very nice film like emulations, but because LightRoom has the same in the program, I normally shoot RAW, then in the post processing selecting an emulation I like before continuing the processing. I will post some shots with the camera below:
